Bharwan mirch.

the green chillies used in this recipes are the ones used for making Mirchi bajji or Mirchi bonda. A recipe i learnt from my mom... 
       
Ingredients required;



  • 7-8 chillies deseeded
  • 1 cup of groundnut roasted
  • 1/2 cup roasted sesame seeds ( till)
  • 1 cup dry coconut
  • 9-10 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp of cumin powder (jeera)
  • 1tsp of coriander powder( dhania)
  • 1 tsp of tamarind powder or amchur powder
  • 1 tsp of garam powder
  • 1 tsp of chilli powder
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of hing ( astafoetida)
  • salt to taste
  • oil as required

    procedure to make;





  • Firstly wash the chilly and slit them lengthwise and deseed it and keep aside.
  • Now powder the roasted groundnuts coarsely and keep aside.
  • Now to the mixer add the dry coconut, sesame and remaining dry masala and grind coarsely and mix with groundnut mixture.
  • Add a little oil to this mixture.
  • Now fill this stuffing inside the chilly.
  • Heat oil in a pan and after its heated put in the stuffed chillies and let it cook for 7-8 mins.
  • Remember to keep the flame at low and don toss much just once to twice to prevent chilly from sticking to pan.
  • Remove from flame and serve with phulkas and garnish with onions.
