Stuffed Aloo bonda

Preparation time :- 20 mins
Cooking time :- 5-7 mins
Makes 7-8 bondas

Ingredients Required:-

  • 3 medium sized potatoes boiled
  • Half cup green peas boiled 
  • Half cup finely chopped coriander
  • 1/4 cup grated paneer
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped dry fruits ( raisins,almonds,cashew nuts)
  • 1 cup of besan
  • 1-2 green chillies
  • 1/2 tspn of grated ginger
  • 1 tspn of red chilly powder
  • Water for making batter
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
Method of preparation :-

  • Firstly coarshly grind green peas, ginger,coriander and green chillies.
  • Peel and mash the boiled potatoes and to it add the above mixture.
  • Mix properly and add salt.
  • Make a batter of besan along with a little salt and chilly powder.
  • Mix together mashed paneer, grated cheese and dry fruits.
  • Now divide potato mixture into 8 equal parts.
  • Stuff this with mashed paneer,cheese and dry mixture. Seal this properly.
  • Dip in besan batter.
  • Deep fry in refined oil on a medium flame till it browns.

Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
